Brandon Feller began fishing the Green River at a young age, and his adoration and attachment for the river was immediate. In 2005, he had the opportunity to become a guide for Trout Creek Flies. He was hired by the renowned Denny Breer, and was fortunate to be mentored by him and others such as Emmett Heath. Brandon has been described as being patient, persistent, and knowledgeable. In addition, he is also a talented teacher and is a Fly Fishers International (FFI) certified casting instructor. Brandon has experience working with anglers and casters of all skill levels, and can help elevate your game. He believes that it isn’t just about guiding people into fish, but empowering anglers. Brandon is an Umpqua Feather Merchants signature fly designer, so you can be confident that you will be setup with the right flies and gear. Beginners can expect to get the right instruction and catch fish, and experts will be taught the nuances of the Green River and a refined approach. Brandon has a connection to the environment and the fish, and will adapt to given weather and river conditions. His experience isn’t limited to just the Green River though, and he has fly fished many parts of the world including Canada, Mexico, Belize, Australia, New Zealand, and Taiwan.
